Sunday Fun: Pleats & Stripes

So as mentioned in my last outfit post, I had another outfit in mind to go along with my new Alexa. I thought green and pink colors pair really nicely together and last time I wore this skirt, I wore it differently. I still love the playfulness of this skirt and the way the chiffon-style material moves when I walk. I wanted to add a casual feel with the outfit so I paired it with my fave striped shirt.

I’ve always had a fascination for Egyptian history when learning in high school, so when my former boss had to go to Egypt on a business trip, she asked me if I wanted anything from there. The first thing I thought of was having my name carved in hieroglyphics necklace tag in white gold. The chain that it came with was a little short and felt uncomforable on my skin, so I ordered this black silk necklace from ebay to have the tag lay a little longer. Someday, I’d love to go to Egypt and see the pyramids and sphinx in person and be awed by the magnificent structure of history.

Well, hope you all enjoyed this outfit! Tomorrow I head out to Philly for pre-wedding prep work for my sister as well as doing a 2nd hair/makeup trial run before the wedding Saturday. Then Friday will be an all day girl pampering session plus decorating the reception. Saturday will be an early morning of getting my sister ready then all day of shooting. I still can’t believe my little sister will be married in 3 days – ahh! Anyways, I hope you all have a great Wednesday and thanks for reading! =)
