Since I broke my Dior black sunnies more than a year ago, I've been meaning to look for one to replace it. I found these Chloe ones from Hautelook one day and absolutely the shape of these.
The more I look at these pumps from Ivanka Trump (last seen here), the more I love how much the leather detail gives these pumps such an edge. Outfit
AT Loft wool blazer (old); Zara turtleneck; H&M faux suede nude skirt (old); Target brown tights; Ivanka Trump leopard pumps; eagle claw cuff bracelet; gold-links layered necklace (borrow from sister); F21 Sunburst Medallion necklace and Chloe sunnies. This outfit fits nicely into Lunar New Year as well since the color Red & Gold signifies luck in most Asian cultures. The color red scares away bad spirits and the gold brings in wealth and fortune for the new year. When I was young, I never really understood the idea of traditions, but since I was taught some of them a few years ago from friends and family, I try to keep up with some of them every year. Most specifically, I try not to vacuum or wash my hair on Lunar Day, because then you would be washing away the luck. Even now, I'm never much into traditions, but I feel some traditions are fun to keep. ^_^
But out of curiosity, what type of traditions have you kept up with for Lunar New Year? I'd love to hear them!

"For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone." ~ Audrey Hepburn
