For my inspiration, I always love poinsettias and around this time, they go hand in hand with Christmas trees to represent my favorite holiday of the year. So I decided to incorporate them into this tutorial. Also, FYI - in the past, I have heard that poinsettias are poisonous to pets and children, however, while searching for the images for inspiration yesterday, I did come across some info to confirm that they are not. Glad to hear, because I couldn't imagine these gorgeous holiday flowers could be poisonous to anyone.
Materials used:
Orly Nail Defense for base coat
Sally Hanson Gem Crush in Cha-Ching (2 coats)
China Glaze in Golden Enchantment
Art Deco nail polish in red and black
Nail Star art pen/brush in green glitter
Gold crystals
Seche Clear for top coat
Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this and let me know in the comments below if you do rock these for your holiday party or family get-togethers! =)

Add CommentIt's true that poinsettia's aren't poisonous, but they can be harmful or even lethal to those with latex allergies. I have a latex allergy and can't touch them, or sit too close. Sadly there are some with latex allergies so severe they can't even be in the same room as one, I have no idea how they go out during the holiday season. :(
Otherwise I love the tutorial. I have a similar nail polish from Hard Candy, I might have to try this during the week!
Beautiful holiday nails!
Love the nails :) Might have to change my nails to red :)
