As soon as I arrived to my sister's place, we headed over to Bon Chon to grab some chicken wings in Fort Lee. Then next day I went to pick up Nu to head over to Mitsuwa and meet up with Tammy for lunch and then of course do a little shopping! =D I felt so bad tho since I didn't realize how long it would take to get to Mitsuwa from Nu's bf's place. In addition, the gps went wacky on me the day before and kept changing directions, so it took us literally an hr to get there. It probably wouldn't have taken me that long had I known the actual direction to get there. Then to top it off, there were practically no parking spaces there - it was a mad house and took me several drive around before we finally landed a spot. I felt so bad since we kept Tammy waiting for us at the entrance.
Once we met up with her, all three of us made our way to grab some ramen. I couldn't believe that Tammy never had ramen before nor Hi-Chews but don't worry girls, she knows now! haha. Nu was soo excited to go shopping afterwards bc there weren't that many asian shops where she lives! We all went immediately towards the hair care and face products and was out of there within few minutes. Next up, Tammy drove us over to Face Shop since she knew the area more than we did. Nu and I went a little more crazy in there as well. haha.

After we were done shopping, I took Nu home and went back to get ready for the Pow Wow. At this point I was getting a bit nervous since I asked Tammy what she would be wearing to the pow wow and she said a dress. She also mentioned another girl was wearing a dress as well. Let me start by saying that I had a different outfit entirely for the night and it didn't involve a dress. I txted Lynn to find out what she was wearing and she also replied a dress plus two other girls were wearing one too. Did I miss a memo here?? haha. Anyways thank goodness I brought up several dresses at the request of my sister for a wedding she was attending so I used one of those instead.
I have to thank Tammy for being able to drive us into the city bc the way we dressed would've had heads turning especially with Tammy's dress cut down to there to show a nice back! haha. We saw Pink there first with her cute outfit and fierce shoes! Then the rest of the girls started trickling in at Pylosand there were about 13 including myself: Pam, Tammy, Lynn, Lily, Jenn 1, Vickie, Desi, Kendell, Helen, Patti, Diana, and Jenn 2
Now for pictures! Unfortunately I didn't take that many pics besides the food so I had to grab some from the other girls. haha. I failed miserably to be a camwhore. haha. The food there was all in all great! However, I was so filled up on the pita and the appetizers that I had little room for the main entree. It was also a bit too saucy for me to take.

On a side note: thank the stars for Tammy reminding me whether or not I brought my gift when she came to pick me up! I was all in a rush to get out and left my package right by the door. She didn't drive too far away and turned around for me to get it. However in my clumsy rush up the stairs, I bumped all sorts of things along the way and resulted in this huge bruise on my hip for the rest of the night and still healing right now.

Apparently the guys next door never saw so many girls in one place so they wanted to take our pics. haha. Only in NYC. =) We were going to walk over to Beauty Bar but found out that it was a bit further away to walk so we ended up going to Duet karaoke. OMG, I LOVE IT! haha. It was $6-8 per hour and they had a HUGE selection of songs from english to chinese to korean to even filipino. Too bad I practically talked all night that my voice was shot by the time I finished four songs. I'm so going to go to this place again! All thanks to Helen and her sister Patti for letting us know of the place.=D
